Mike Biwer will lead SalesPad as CEO

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.Grand Rapids-based software company SalesPad announced the appointment of Michael Biwer to the role of CEO. Biwer will succeed company co-founder and former CEO Matt Williams, who will assume the role of Chief Technology Officer, taking a more active role in product vision, strategy and development. This move will enable Williams to return to his creative passion and work closely with the SalesPad development teams to drive new and cutting-edge innovation to its customers and to the market.

Originally from West Michigan, Biwer has spent much of his professional career in California working with some of the fastest-growing brands and technology companies in the world. After hearing the SalesPad story, studying how the company creates step-function improvements in value for its manufacturing and distribution customers, and seeing the long-term potential of the business, he wanted to be a part of the growing team in Grand Rapids. He says listening to Pete Eardley, SalesPad’s co-founder and Chairman, describe how the software enabled him to triple his growth with the same-sized team reinforced why he wanted to lead the organization to the next level. His return to his home town in West Michigan demonstrates his passion for helping businesses like SalesPad realize their full potential.

Biwer offers the SalesPad team extensive experience leading, growing, and operating technology and software companies. Prior to SalesPad, he has held several top and senior-level positions for various companies, covering sectors such as digital marketing, information technology and services, and enterprise software. Earlier in his professional career, he spent several years in Finance and Management Consulting, with Ford Motor Company, and Deloitte Consulting respectively.

Biwer graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Finance. He also earned his Masters of Business Administration from UofM, focusing on Strategy and Operations.
