News release: Fast-growing software company to attract more than 300 customers to annual conference in Grand Rapids
SalesPad’s PANELS 2017 conference to feature keynote speaker Captain Paul X. Rinn, USN (Ret.), operational ERP workshops, roundtable discussions and more, August 8-10
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – SalesPad, a Grand Rapids-based software company, today announced it will host PANELS 2017, West Michigan’s premier technology conference for inventory, purchasing and order entry software, Aug. 8-10 at the Eberhard Center in downtown Grand Rapids. SalesPad expects to attract more than 300 enterprise resource planning (ERP) professionals and SalesPad users to Grand Rapids for the three-day conference.
“SalesPad is committed to providing powerful, innovative and flexible software solutions for our clients so they can maximize their productivity and decrease operational costs,” said Matt Williams, SalesPad President. “PANELS 2017 attracts SalesPad customers and partners from across the country and we love showing off everything that makes Grand Rapids great while interacting with current and future customers.”
PANELS 2017 will feature business person and retired U.S. Naval Leader Captain Paul Rinn as the keynote speaker. With a Navy career spanning over three decades, Rinn will tell the story of how, sinking and on fire, ordinary U.S. Navy seamen achieved the extraordinary and kept the USS Samuel B. Roberts afloat after striking a mine in the Persian Gulf. Rinn will present on how strong, innovative leadership, preparedness, courage, innovation and teamwork decided the outcome, Tuesday, Aug. 8 at 1 p.m.
“Technology is the key to modern day success and it’s important employers equip their teams with the tools and information they need to succeed,” said Rinn. “I’m looking forward to sharing my story at PANELS and connecting with SalesPad customers and Grand Rapids community members.”
Since 2003, SalesPad has been creating software that helps manufacturing and distribution companies using Microsoft Dynamics GP for accounting by giving them more visibility and control of their customer data, purchasing and inventory. PANELS 2017 sessions and presentations are focused primarily on SalesPad's add-on products for Microsoft Dynamics GP, with some content centered on their new Cloud-based product, which is an innovative and new way of approaching ERP solutions.
Participants will meet with SalesPad’s partners, vendors, leadership, developers and technicians. Workshops and roundtable discussions will focus on increasing sales, streamlining business processes and improving warehouse operations through SalesPad’s Desktop product suite. SalesPad will also show off their new office at 3351 Claystone St. SE during Dinner with Devs at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9.
“SalesPad’s Desktop suite has truly changed the way we do business and it has streamlined our operations,” said Cody Pike, CFO of Ferris Coffee & Nut. “We attend PANELS every year because of the valuable roundtable discussions, the new functionality we learn and connections we make with the SalesPad team.”
“Grand Rapids is becoming known as a technology hub for entrepreneurs, startups and technology companies large and small,” said Ruth Kelly, City of Grand Rapids Second Ward Commissioner. “Thanks to growing technology companies like SalesPad, we’re attracting talent and businesses from across the Midwest and beyond to West Michigan. We are excited to welcome PANELS participants to Grand Rapids.”
