News release: Fast-growing Grand Rapids-based tech company announces completion of major office expansion
New office accommodates SalesPad’s growing team and new products.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – SalesPad, a Grand Rapids-based software company, announced today the completion of its new office, located at 3351 Claystone St. SE, Suite 100. The renovated 30,000-square-foot office is located on the top floor and part of the main floor of the Atrium Building. The project, along with SalesPad’s lease, was a driving force in the overall renovations to the building, currently owned by Atrium Partners.
“Our consistent growth over the last 13 years has resulted in quite a few moves. With our new Cloud product getting ready to launch, we wanted our next office to be our home for the foreseeable future,” said SalesPad President Matt Williams. “The new office marks a significant milestone for us. It allows us to continue growing our team and offer a more cohesive work environment that supports collaboration between employees and customers, inspires creativity, and boosts productivity. It also allows us to facilitate more software trainings, workshops, and demonstrations.”
As a fast-growing, West Michigan tech company that currently employs 97 employees and 14 interns, SalesPad outgrew their previous space in the Eaglecrest Office Park in Grand Rapids Township. SalesPad completed significant renovations, including the removal of nearly all internal walls on the top floor, to create four large workspaces and a central cafe/gathering area. Four bathrooms were updated and clear glass atriums were added on the East and West sides of the building, with new fixtures and a complete redesign of the external landscaping (still in progress) and common spaces. The updated office features wireless AV in all conference rooms, new office furniture from West Michigan Office Interiors, Custer Office Environments and others, spacious executive offices, custom artwork, a 40-person training facility, a restaurant-style soda machine, and a shuffleboard table.

For over 13 years, SalesPad has been creating software that helps manufacturing and distribution companies using Microsoft Dynamics GP for accounting by giving them more visibility and control of their customer data, purchasing, and inventory. The need for a new, larger office space and more developers was driven by the consistent growth of the SalesPad Desktop product, an expanding custom development team, and by the upcoming summer launch of SalesPad Cloud.
“We took the key operational ERP elements from our Desktop solution and made them available to even more businesses by moving to the cloud,” said SalesPad Vice President of Business Development, Jeremy Boogaart. “Accounting software can be difficult to navigate and typically doesn’t handle inventory well. SalesPad Cloud gives small-to-medium sized business running Quickbooks the confidence to sell, ship, and deliver on time and at the right price.”
Community members are invited to celebrate SalesPad’s office expansion on Wednesday, May 31 from 3-6 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting and open house. Representatives of the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce will also participate in the event.
