Event Coordinator

SalesPad is seeking a highly-motivated Event Coordinator with experience organizing unforgettable events from conception through to completion. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about each attendee’s experience, and must be well organized with strong attention to detail. Additionally, this is the perfect position for an Event Coordinator competent in vendor management and capable of executing all event operations on schedule and within budget.


As an Event Coordinator, the typical day includes:

  • Plan and execute PANELS, SalesPad’s annual 3-day, multi-track conference hosting 400 attendees.
  • Managing online registration and the overall promotion plan for PANELS and other SalesPad events requiring RSVP.
  • Booking & managing various vendors, scheduling & coordinating speakers, volunteers, and interns.
  • Creating a minute-by-minute plan for SalesPad events for on-time delivery.
  • Working with a Graphic Designer and Content Marketer, develop themes and supporting marketing materials for PANELS and various trade shows.
  • Creating and managing the annual budget for all events as well as an annual trade show and event calendar.
  • Acting as the main liaison between marketing and sales for all SalesPad trade shows to ensure successful event presence and lead generation. This includes preparing the booth plan, giveaways, shipping/logistics, and determine/implement the follow-up communication with the leads collected.
  • Assisting the SalesPad Advocacy Network (SPAN) and SalesPad Employee Engagement Download (SPEED) teams in the execution of community and company events.
  • Managing various projects in the marketing department in addition to event project management such as internal communications (Announcement Wall/The Download Newsletter).

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • You have a proven track record showcasing previous success in the organization of corporate events.
  • You are proficient in MS Office and Google Apps.

Junior Project Manager

The Junior Project Manager is responsible for leading the implementation of SalesPad’s software solutions, maximizing the customer’s experience while effectively communicating and managing projects and expectations. This is a highly visible role in the organization, requiring a combination of project management, technical, and interpersonal skills to be successful. The Junior Project Manager reports directly to the Manager of Professional Services.

  • Providing project leadership across all assigned projects
  • Leading and motivating teams to obtain desired results
  • Creating and maintaining healthy relationships with customers
  • Developing and managing the project plan for the implementation of SalesPad’s software
  • Communicating with customers in a timely and professional manner

  • Working closely with other teams including support, development, and sales to meet customer needs

Sales Engineer

SalesPad is seeking a Sales Engineer to serve as a technical resource for its sales team, helping to align both new, as well as existing clients, with software solutions to meet their complex business needs. This role will work closely with sales representatives, engaging with prospects to identify specific requirements, along with pain points that would be addressed with SalesPad products. After discovery, the Sales Engineer would be responsible for interpreting requirements in order to build a specific proof of concept environment to present to the client. Messaging for each technical product demo would be tailored to best connect with specific audiences, including both C-level, and end user alike. A successful candidate would exhibit a combination of technical abilities, an understanding of business best practices, as well as strong interpersonal skills.


As a Sales Engineer, the typical day includes:

  • Conducting discovery calls with both prospective and current clients to determine scope and technical requirements for ERP software projects.
  • Properly aligning technical requirements with product modules to account for required use cases.
  • Coordinating with Business Analysts to facilitate the creation of custom SOWs if custom requirements are discovered.
  • Effectively demonstrating the product, and how it solves specific pain points, both in person and through webinar services such as Go To Meeting.
  • Tailoring demo messaging to specific audiences such as C-level and end users alike.
  • Preparing written documentation for implementation staff, outlining project scope and proof of concept setup and configurations discussed during pre-sales.
  • Serving as a technical resource to answer any questions at any point in the project lifecycle, including Pre-Sales, Implementation, and Go Live.

  • You have a 4 year degree in Business Administration or related field
  • You have excellent written and verbal communications skills

Software Implementation Consultant

The Software Implementation Consultant plays a key role in the implementation of SalesPad software by providing business process consulting, system configuration, technical assistance, and training. The Software Implementation Consultant is responsible for ensuring the customer’s success in using SalesPad software to improve their overall business performance.


As an Implementation Consultant, the typical day includes:

  • Using technical skills to successfully implement SalesPad software
  • Providing business process, software, and project expertise to clients
  • Performing business requirements analysis based on feedback from clients during project kickoff calls
  • Leading discovery sessions to determine the optimal system configuration and business requirements for clients
  • Mapping business process requirements to software functionality, determining gap/fit, and designing solutions for any identified gaps
  • Identifying and recommending product customizations, enhancements, and/or workarounds to improve the client’s experience
  • Creating and/or modifying custom reports using the DevExpress report designer and/or SQL queries
  • Training users on new business processes and use of SalesPad software
  • Performing hands-on software configuration to customer specifications
  • Trouble-shooting and resolving issues resulting from system configuration
  • Communicating with clients and team members

 

This is the job for you if:

  • You have 2 or more years’ experience with ERP Software (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics GP, etc.)
  • You know distribution and/or manufacturing processes
  • You’re organized and can easily maintain multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in one or more of the following: Business, Accounting, Management/Computer Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or related program
  • You’re experienced with software configuration, prototyping, and testing using leading ERP software solutions, such as SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards, Microsoft AX, IFS, Infor, and Epicor
  • You’re passionate about serving clients in the Manufacturing and Distribution industry
