SalesPad Cloud Taps Into QuickBooks Online Ecosystem

Small and medium-sized businesses are turning to the cloud at record levels.

An Intuit study shows a marked increase in cloud, app, and mobile usage by small businesses over the past couple years:

  • 62 percent operate in the cloud, up from 37 percent.
  • 68 percent use apps, up from 50 percent.
  • 63 percent operate with a smartphone, up from 43 percent.

Providing back-office functionality for growing small businesses is SalesPad Cloud, which integrates with QuickBooks Online.

SalesPad Cloud offers a holistic look at business operations by bringing enterprise functionalities to the cloud. It provides detailed inventory, purchase order, and sales document management; practical CRM; and premier shipping and e-commerce integrations to enhance QBO.

“QuickBooks Online is the platform of choice because it is … (a) collaboration tool for accountants,” said Vinay Pai, vice president and head of Intuit Developer Group, in a statement. “Our developers and partners play a huge role in building this ecosystem; they help us create innovative and useful tools that help small businesses flourish.”

SalesPad is an active part of that partnership, with SalesPad Cloud integrating into QBO’s ecosystem of 1.6 million subscribers and growing. There are about 1,285 apps on the QBO platform, with 435 published in the QuickBooks Apps Store — with SalesPad Cloud among those.
