SalesPad is a Premium Sponsor for the third annual QuickBooks® Connect conference, by Intuit®, this fall.

Slated October 24 to 26 at McEnery Convention Center in downtown San Jose, QuickBooks Connect offers user-led, role-based education sessions for current and past versions of QuickBooks for QuickBooks users, ProAdvisors, partners, and industry experts and vendors.

As a Premium Sponsor, SalesPad has a primary spot at Booth P6 in the Downtown Expo Hall at the conference along with other premium sponsors Avalara, American Express, BlueVine, Capital One, Google, and PayPal. At QB Connect, SalesPad is highlighting SalesPad Cloud, which enhances QuickBooks Online, and SalesPad POS, inventory-focused point of sale leveraging SalesPad Cloud and QBO.

SalesPad is also partnering with Avalara, Receipt Bank, and TSheets to co-sponsor Connect After Dark, a celebration  the first night of QB Connect on October 24 at M Fusion Lounge, 98 S. Second St. in San Jose.

QB Connect offers workshops and breakout sessions created specifically for small businesses, accountants and developers.

This year, the event also features an additional track customized for self-employed individuals  in addition to tracks for small business owners and entrepreneurs, accounting professionals, and developers. There is also a pre-conference hackathon for developers October 22 and 23.

The small business owners and entrepreneurs track includes entrepreneur Bill Rancic, USA Today columnist Rhonda Abrams, and Death Wish Coffee owner Mike Brown, winner of this year’s QuickBooks’ Small Business Big Game campaign.

The Main Stage presentations are to include NBA Hall of Famer, enterpreneur, and businessman Shaquille O’Neal; U.S. Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian in history with 23 gold medals and 28 medals overall; U.S. Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, who has won three consecutive all-around world titles and whose four gold medals are more than any woman gymnast in history; America Ferrera, star of the TV shows “Superstore” and “Ugly Betty” and a business owner; New York Times best-selling writer and journalist Malcolm Gladwell; and Brad Smith, Intuit chairman and chief executive officer. Also taking part are Jillian Michaels, a bestselling author, daytime Emmy-nominated TV personality, entrepreneur, and a health and wellness expert; actress and entrepreneur Eva Longoria Baston; fashion designer Christian Siriano; Drybar founder Alli Webb; and social entrepreneur Derreck Kayongo.

Third Eye Blind, a rock band out of San Francisco led by rhythm guitarist Stephan Jenkins and pianist Brad Hargreaves, is performing during the conference.

“I’m married to a small business owner and entrepreneur, so I see the challenges small business owners face daily and know how the broad set of resources offered at QuickBooks Connect can truly make a difference in their businesses and in their lives,” said Karen Peacock, Intuit senior vice president of small business, in a statement. “We want to create an environment to inspire, educate and connect small businesses, developers, accountants and those who are self-employed. We can help them build their expertise and fuel success.”

By the way, there’s still time to register for QuickBooks Connect. As a friend of SalesPad, use the code QBC16CONNECT for the special discounted rate of $149 for a two-day pass, a savings of more than half off.
